Scott, those are look’n good! I’ve always used a soft hackle for a sow imitation but I dont really understand why they imitate them?

Basically the hackle represents the legs as they flail in the water when they get caught in the current or if they are trying to swim. Soft hackles represent them well.

Yeah Mike D, this one is one of my favorite dubbings for sows. It’s killer.
