]]> http://www.utahflypatterns.com/2011/10/flash-in-the-pan/feed/ 0 On a Cold Winters Day http://www.utahflypatterns.com/2011/02/on-a-cold-winters-day/ http://www.utahflypatterns.com/2011/02/on-a-cold-winters-day/#comments Fri, 04 Feb 2011 04:12:53 +0000 RnF http://www.utahflypatterns.com/?p=420 Was messing around with some picture styles for my camera and thought this one turned out rather nice.  This picture style is called Fake IR (infra red).  I love the look of this image using it.  Black and white with some pop.  If you use Canon cameras (550D, 5D, 7D, or any of the Mark cameras), you can use this picture style.  It was designed by a crazy talented Japanese photographer named Kevin Wang, his photos are amazing.  He doesn’t use any post processing like photoshop.  Just shoots in RAW then applies his own designed picture styles and converts them to JPG’s.  I actually really like this technique.

All in all, it was a good day to be out on the water.
